More than ever, Dutch consumers consider it important that companies contribute to a better world. But consumers are also critical: almost half (44%) say they distrust the good intentions of companies. This is evident from figures from the Social Impact Monitor of Motivaction and Het PR Bureau (HPB). The survey, which has been conducted annually since 2009, aims to help companies make ‘effective social impact’.

Through a series of Reels, they are celebrating small businesses and creators who use Reels to show off their brand identity. UK’s Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) launches its new digital LGBTQ+ hub

LGBTIQ+ entrepreneurs are to receive a boost as the UK’s biggest business group, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), launched its new digital LGBTIQ+ hub. The hub, entitled Let’s Grow Business Together, will include resources for small business owners and self-employed people to help encourage LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship, and promote inclusivity in workplaces.

Credit Suisse’s private-banking clients in the US are able to buy into a portfolio of blue-chip companies with LGBT-friendly policies. The Credit Suisse LGBT Equality Index is the first index to track the equity performance of companies supporting and promoting equality for members of the LGBT community.

Shares in companies supporting diversity including gender identity and sexual orientation have historically performed better than the broader market, according to Credit Suisse Group AG analysts.

Credit Suisse’s market-cap weighted basket of about 350 LGBTQ-inclusive companies, which includes firms such as Apple Inc.Tesla Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co., has outperformed MSCI Inc.’s flagship ACWI global equity index excluding those 350 constituents by 378 basis points a year since 2010.
